new azimut superyacht - chestnut
AZIMUT GRANDE 32 METRI
This eye-catching Azimut is 105’ / 32m of powerful lines and seemingly blunt edges, forming a creation of timeless modernity. ‘Chestnut’ currently sits with the big boys in the exclusive marina at Sentosa Cove, Singapore, and she certainly stands out amongst the typical sharp pointing bows.
She only graced the waters earlier in 2021, after building was completed at Azimut’s Viareggio shipyard in Italy. Stefano Righini is responsible for her exterior design work, and Achille Salvagni Architetti is responsible for the luxury vessel’s interior styling which has great use of colour and radius edges everywhere you look.
A beautiful staircase of backlit onyx steps leads you up to the raised pilot house, and all the way down to the staterooms. With 5 suites onboard (1 on-deck Owner’s suite with same level master bathroom, plus 2 Double and 2 Twin), she has been designed to accommodate 10 guests in complete comfort. Plus, to ensure a relaxed experience, she is also capable of housing up to 5 onboard crew members.
There is ample closet space, allowing you to bring on board a whole wardrobe of clothes so that you can stay on the water for weeks on end. The owner’s suite has stunning full length windows on both sides, creating an unparalleled perception of being entirely at one with the ocean.
The Azimut Grande 32 Metri has a side garage suitable for a 5m tender, plus a 3m jet-ski. This leaves room at the stern for an exquisite pivoting swim platform that provides an 18m squared “beach club” area, putting you closer to the sea, if desired. There’s also a double grill and wet bar outside.
This stunning vessel was manufactured to RINA classification society rules. She is built with a carbon fibre superstructure (Beam: 23’11 / 7.3m), and a GRP hull (Draft: 6’4 / 1.92m) ...and when stepping foot on her teak decks you are bound to feel engulfed in splendor.
The asking price for an Azimut Grande 32 Metri is upwards of €10,000,000.
aNOTHER NEW ARRIVAL
Since starting to write this article, another Azimut Grande 32 Metri turned up at Sentosa Cove! On 31st December, just in time for the new year, we watched Mahakala sail into the marina and moor up just outside with the windows covered.
'Mahakala' is known as one of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japanese folklore.
