Family - 38.1m Benetti yacht
This 38.1m luxury superyacht comes from the Italian shipbuilders Benetti. Family was previously named Jacozami. She was constructed and delivered in 2020 and is one of eleven Benetti Fast 125 models. She is the 160th-largest built by Benetti and the 2,494th-largest yacht in the world.
This model has a beam of 8.23m and sits in the water with a 2.01m maximum draft. With a carbon fibre and GRP superstructure, a GRP mono hull and a teak deck, she has a 349 gross tonnage. She has a maximum speed of 22 knots powered by her twin 16V 2000 M94 MTU diesel engines (2,635hp), and a fuel tank that holds 25,000 litres. She can cruise comfortably at 17.5 knots but when cruising at 12 knots she can reach a range of 1,750 nautical miles.
Her striking exterior is the design work of Stefano Righini Design Studio based in Italy. While England based Redman Whiteley Dixon, aka RWD Yacht Design, is responsible for her interior. The styling of her interior is light and bright, classy and timeless, with the use of a neutral colour scheme, creating a luxuriously chic and welcoming atmosphere.
Family has 5 serene cabins which includes a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, featuring large floor-to-ceiling windows, a study, a walk-in dressing room, a king-sized bed, plus his-and-hers en suite bathrooms connected by a central shower room.
The remaining guest rooms are on the lower deck and consist of 2x double cabins with queen-sized beds, 1x twin/double convertible cabin, plus 1x twin cabin, each with its own en suite bathroom. These spacious rooms allow a total of 10 guests to stay onboard overnight.
There are 4 crew cabins plus a captain's cabin, which provides comfortable accommodation for 8 experienced crew members to control and run this stunning tri-deck vessel.
Her impressive main salon is open-plan and inviting, with lots of natural light coming through her large windows. Here you will find a stylish oversized lounge area and a formal dining table that seats 10 guests for a more intimate dining experience. From here, sliding doors lead out onto the aft deck where guests will find an alfresco dining area. This leads down to her lavish beach club area and hydraulic swim platform that allows guests to easily access the water with her array of toys, or just relax on the edge of the water with a cocktail in hand.
In addition, her full-beam aft skylounge boasts a retractable sunroof where you can enjoy a drink at the stainless steel and glass observation bar. If that doesn’t take your fancy, you can retreat to the foredeck area and catch some rays on the sunpads or take a dip in the luxurious jacuzzi and enjoy the magnificent scenery.
Guests who are looking for some high-octane fun won’t be disappointed with her outstanding assortment of water toys. Take to the sea on her electric hydrofoil fliteboard, or one of her two F5S Seabobs. If that’s not enough, you can try the wake board, surfboards or water skis. Have a laugh with the towable doughnut or seek out the aquatic sea life with snorkels and accessories. For more power, she boasts two SeaDoo RXP-XRS 300 jetskis, and when you need to make a seamless trip back to land, she has a Williams DieselJet 505 Tender ready and waiting.
