CANNES 2022 YACHT FESTIVAL
This eclectic exhibition took place in the heart of the French Riviera on 6-11th September 2022. The unparalleled location hosted nearly 650 yachts of the biggest names in the industry, showcasing their latest innovative designs and technology.
Some debuting models this year were the new Azimut Grande 36m and Grande 26m, who appealed to buyers looking for a greener approach. Also making their world debut were the Fairline Phantom 65 sports bridge, and the Squadron 68 models. The Sirenna 88 also made an appearance at the show, worth over £6.6million.

This ‘afloat’ boat show took place in two ports within the Bay of Cannes; Port Pierre Canto and Vieux Port (or the Old Port). The ports held yachts from 5 up to 45 meters in length, ranging from motor to sail yachts, semi-rigid to hard hull yachts, monohull to multi-hull yachts, and from tenders to superyachts.
Held every September, the Cannes Boat Show was founded in 1977. In 2019 the layout changed, where all motor yachts are displayed at Vieux Port and all sail yachts are displayed at Port Canto. The layout change helped create extra berthing space by 1,000 linear meters. A regular bus and sea shuttle linking the two ports allowed for easy access to both sites.
what sets the Cannes Yacht Festival aside from other yacht shows...
Sea Trials
For those looking to buy, the Cannes Yacht Festival gives buyers the rare opportunity to take sea trials in the most stunning yachts on the market, offering a first-hand experience before they make their decision.
Exciting future
For enthusiasts wondering about the future of yachting, there is a space for intelligent start-ups to inspire others with their innovative ideas, more environmentally friendly approaches, and modern technologies.
Indulge
Aside from the yachts themselves, guests can indulge in a shopping spree at the event's prestigious selection of retailers, from real estate to fashion, and everything nautical, at the Luxury Gallery. Or for those looking for something to get the adrenaline pumping, they can experience the watersports demonstrations such as fly-boarding and jet skis.
Enthusiasts can also watch the unmissable parade of vintage day boats at the annual Concours D’Elegance display. This showcase is for owners, collectors, and exhibitors to pay tribute to the sailing boat's rich history. Spectators are encouraged to consider the rarity of the models, their history, the quality of their restorations, and even the elegance of their crew members. Following the parade, an award ceremony takes place, where prizes and awards are bestowed by the partners.
Whether you are a serious buyer or just a family who love boats and looking for a wonderful day out, tickets started from just €19 this year, and children under (and including) the age of 10 go free. So, start planning your visit to the 46th edition - dates scheduled for 12-17th Sept 2023.
